Quizzing is fun, and we live by that dictum. Every IQL meeting is an event by itself – there’s lots of food, caffeine and adrenaline!

And if you attend a quiz (that might probably be hosted by us) and be asked this question:

“who are probably the biggest customers of coffee shops in Chennai?”

You can take a potshot and say “IQL”

And you can thank our Team Member Pantan (aka Ananthakrishnan) for his voracious apetite for coffee and confectionaries with questions.

Jokes apart…

We meet every alternate Saturday in any of the coffee shops in Chennai. Now, we have been meeting at Zha Cafe, in Adyar. We are looking for a permanent venue, if you have any ideas, please share it with us. We will be happy to explore.

The Meeting

We have two different styles of meetings.

1. 10 Question a Participant – Each participant brings in 10 questions for the day. Tough, easy or obscure, participants should bring their questions. We strongly believe that, making questions will also help in answering questions. That’s how this format came in.

2. Quiz Masters of the Universe Series – One Quiz master showing off his questioning skills in topic of his choice. Any topic under the sun that you are comfortable with.

How does one become a member?

 There is no membership fee required to attend the meetings. Online membership is available here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/quizakn/. IQL goes by the concept of knowledge sharing, whereby in each meeting, aspects other than quizzing are presented and shared with each other.
